Description

Having been trained professionally as a historian, the main issues my research deal with concern,
a) Textual edition of Hebrew historical documents (preserved within the bindings of Medieval and early Modern manuscripts and notarial protocols, scattered in archives and libraries).
b) The outlining of the social and personal networks of Castilian Jews, and the prosopographical study of elites in the fifteenth century, and
c) The analysis of social and religious historical problems of 14th and 15th centuries Iberian Jewries.

I am Editor-in-Chief of the Journal Sefarad since 2006 (http://sefarad.revistas.csic.es).
